Vacuum Heat Treating Furnace
This system has an
8"x8"x20" hot zone that reaches temperatures of 3000 deg. F. It is also
equipped with a rapid quench in inert gas system allowing it to cool parts at
30 deg. F per second. The base pressure is 1x10-7 Torr in thirty minutes
utilizing a Varian 16" diffusion pump. multiple safety interlocks assist
in preventing operator injury and process / component contamination.
Fabrication of similar systems with larger or smaller hot zones is available to
meet various requirements. |

Hot Wall Oven
This hot wall oven was produced to dry
medical devices acceptable moisture levels. It was fitted with a PLC controller
and operator interface. The backfill gas was heated to assist in the drying
process. The oven measures 16" diameter x 18" deep and operated in the 250
degree F range. |

Infrared Vacuum
Oven

This
infrared oven operates at 800 degrees C while maintaining a vacuum level of
3x10-6 Torr. The elements are quartz tubes and are mounted in reflectors to
promote uniformity in the hot zone. It's main mode of operation is an auto
cycle but has a manual and maintenance modes as well. All safety interlocks are
present during both auto and manual modes while the maintenance mode bypasses
them all. The unit is pumped with an Alcatel 30 cfm mechanical pump and
a 1000 liters per minute Varian turbo pump. The walls are water cooled
to maintain acceptable exterior temperatures for operator safety. |

Bake Out Oven
This bake out oven was designed to run
various recipes to allow our customer the flexibility to dry multiple types of
optical substrates. It operates in the 350 degree C range and pumps down to
3x10-7 Torr during operation while maintaining a cold wall exterior via the
full water jacket. This unit utilizes a 30 cfm Alcatel mechanical pump
and a CTI CT8 Cryo-Pump with a water cooled compressor. All safety
interlocks are present during both the auto cycle and the manual mode to help
prevent operator injury and protect the process. |

Bake Out Oven
Bake out oven was designed to operate
at 550 degrees C. It is evacuated with an Alcatel 30 cfm mechanical pump
only. It's primary purpose is to dry components to an acceptable moisture
level. It has both an auto cycle and a manual mode. All inter locked safeties
operate in both modes. |

Vacuum Drying Oven
This vacuum drying oven was
designed to operate at 650 degrees C. It is mechanicaly pumped with an
Alcatel 30 cfm rotary vane pump and high vacuum is achieved utilizing a
CTI CT-8 Cryo-Pump. The base pressure is 5.0 x 10-8 in 45 minutes. It's
primary purpose is to dry components to an acceptable moisture level prior to
clean room packaging. It has both an auto cycle and a manual mode controlled
with an industrial computer. All inter locked safeties operate in both
modes. |
